Based on the knowledge of Ayurveda, the practice of Yoga Asana can be used as therapy for body and mind.

With thoughtful application of breath work and postures we can influence the body’s internal balance of Dosha, our metabolic activities and the elimination of toxins (Agni) strengthen and balance our nervous system and our endocrine system (Nadi and Chakra) and improve our mental health and energy levels profoundly.

Ayu means life.

Life is movement. As living Yoga, the use of Asana and breath work is there to balance out the fluctuations of both body and mind.

The Asana practice I offer is a dynamic form of Vinyasa Yoga, based on the traditional methods of Ashtanga Yoga according to Patanjali.

Through a balance of flexibility and strength, inhale and exhale, movement and stillness, we centre the dualities of mind and body. The body’s natural functions are optimised while the nervous system is strengthened and the Doshas balanced.
